SoundGrid Servers

SoundGrid Server Configuration

The SoundGrid Server is the “number cruncher” which performs the audio processing. Audio is streamed from the audio interface (e.g. WSG-Y16) to the server, gets processed at low latency, and is streamed back to the interface, according to the audio connections established using the MultiRack SoundGrid host application.

The following Servers have been tested and certified for use with SoundGrid systems:

The following plugins were used for these tests: C4, SSL E-Channel, H-Delay, and TrueVerb. Each Rack was fully loaded with a specific plugin until maximum load was reached. WSG-Y16 cards were used as audio interfaces in these tests.
