What are your favorite Waves plugins?

I just fell in love with Renaissance Axx. I’m using it on all sorts of things other than guitar. I routed my toms to a buss and then inserted the Renaissance Axx on that buss and was blown away how huge and aggressive it made my toms sound.

Also, the SSL G-Master Buss Compressor on my two mix is STELLAR. Just pulls the mix together. I only hit it with a maximum of 2 dB of compression and it just locks the mix in. Sounds killer.

Are you using any plug-ins on wedges / in-ears?

Wedges are sooooo 1996. Friends don’t let friends mix monitors.

What are some advantages of using Waves plugins?

Control and aural footprint.

What do you see as your main goal for the audience?

That they hear and understand the vocal.

How does MultiRack benefit you?

In the unfortunate case I don’t get my Avid console, I carry an SG server to get quality results on my money channels.
