What are your favorite Waves plugins?

The L3-16 Multimaximizer on the main P.A. output, for overall system equalization and compression. The MaxxBass on my sub woofer Aux output, to extend the frequency range down (beyond what the boxes would normally do) and the SSL G-Channel on all my vocals and bass synth/guitar inputs, for EQ and compression fine-tuning.

What are some advantages of using Waves plugins?

Waves plugins give me studio-like control not found on most live digital consoles.

Are you recording or virtual sound-checking the shows?

Yes, I do both.

What do you see as your main goal for the audience?

My main goal is to deliver a FOH mix that is as close to the record as possible, but with all the excitement of a live show.
