What projects are you currently working on?

Some Lovers, a new musical by Burt Bacharach and Steven Sater at The Old Globe in San Diego.
Diabolidad by Mikhail Bulgakov at the National Theater of Cyprus.
February House, a new musical by Gabriel Kahane and Seth Bockley at The Long Wharf Theater and the Public Theater.

What console do you use?

Yamaha, Midas, and MeyerCue Consoles

What are your favorite Waves plugins?

I am always using the basic “control” plugins, Renaissance EQ, L1, L2, and MaxxVolume.

What are some advantages of using Waves plugins?

It’s great to get some of the really nice compressor sounds inside the console, like the CLA-2A and the mastering compressors L1 and L2. I also like to use MaxxBCL as a mastering stage on the Stereo Image.

What do you see as your main goal for the audience?

For a musical, I want the audience to hear clarity and detail in the orchestra while maintaining immediacy, clarity and power in the vocals.
