What Console do you use?

My own Digidesign VENUE D-Show, 5 Mix Engines, 96 XLR show inputs, 48 XLR outputs and recording to Pro Tools HD3

What are your favorite Waves plugins?

Renaissance Channel for vocals, Renaissance Reverb for vocals and drums.

What are some advantages of using Waves plugins?

With Waves plugins, it’s easier to get the sound I am looking for. It just makes my vocals sound more like the studio CD.

Are you recording or virtual sound-checking the shows?

Yes, I am doing both.

What do you see as your main goal for the audience?

I want good intelligibility in the vocals, and I want everyone to understand all the lyrics and to go home satisfied with what they’ve heard.
