Introducing MultiRack Native: Run Waves Plugins – LIVE!

MultiRack

Production Notes

The following MultiRack preset chain is perfect for wide-range female vocals, and consists of four plugins:

  • SSL E-Channel as the main EQ, used to add just the right touch of brightness
  • C4 as a wide de-esser, with high cross points between 2.6 kHz - 8 kHz, with dynamic multiband compression to shape the edges of the vocal
  • Renaissance Vox to finalize the vocal with hard compression (-13 dB threshold and -10 dB output level)
  • Vocal Rider Live, for leveling the vocal channel within a 4 dB up & down range

A true Live sound breakthrough, MultiRack is a software host that lets FOH and Monitor engineers run multiple simultaneous instances of the same Native Waves plugins used in recording studios and mixing rooms the world over. Armed only with a laptop, an I/O box, and MultiRack, you now have the power to shape your Live sound with unprecedented precision, and do away with rack after rack of heavy effects units.

Direct from the Desk: H-Delay

H-Delay

H-Delay combines the best of the analog & digital worlds in one convenient plugin. From real old school PCM42-style effects like filtering, flanging, and phasing, to slap-back echo,ping- pong delay, and tempo-sync with modulation, H-Delay delivers the goods, controlled by a super intuitive interface that lets you get right down to business. In fact, the first things you’ll notice about H-Delay are its huge knobs, meter, and tap pad. Under any lighting conditions, you’ll always be able to see and change H-Delay’s basic parameters, quickly and easily.

H-Delay features all the standard essential parameters such as Delay Time; Feedback; Depth; Rate; Ping-Pong; and Wet/Dry controls. It also has several unique features like phase-reversal; variable, linkable high pass and low pass filters; a lo-fi function for grittier lower resolution effects; and a switchable analog character function with four modes. Delay times can be set manually in milliseconds or by BPM, or you can sync-to-host under supported applications, locking in your delay times according to musical note values.

Available separately and in Mercury, Diamond, Platinum, Gold & Waves Live Bundle.
